HIBIRD will reply only to DEALERS and DOES NOT respond to end users on warranty
claims.
Please contact your DEALER for direct assistance on Warranty, Service, Parts and
Repair.
OWNERS OBLIGATIONS:
a. Perform break-in procedures carefully as described in the handbook.
b. All work on the vehicle must be performed by a HIBIRD authorized dealer.
c. The owner must take the vehicle to an authorized HIBIRD dealer for periodic
maintenance, as specified in the maintenance
chart provided. This work is at the owners expense. It is recommended that
after the warranty expires, work on the vehicle and
maintenances is still done by an authorized dealer to prolong the vehicles life.
d. DO NOT operate the vehicle if an apparent defect poses danger, affects
reliability, or causes further damage.
e. Inform your dealer when a problem occurs and take it for inspection within ten
days.
f. Keep records, receipts and register with dealer to activate warranty.
INCLUSION:
a. HIBIRD warrants that each new unit sold by its self or its authorized
dealers will be free from manufacturing defects in materials and/or
workmanship in normal service use for a period of ONE YEAR from date
of purchase.
b. Batteries are covered for a period of 90 days from sale; all other
electrical components and wiring, is covered for ONE YEAR from Date
of Purchase.
c. This warranty covers only units which have been operated in
accordance with normal use and which have NOT been subjected to
misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, improper installation,
improper maintenance, alteration, or any tampering or changing
of parts on motorcycle.
d. This warranty is expressly limited to the replacement, at a
designated authorized dealer, of such part(s), as inspection shall
disclose to have been defective. Warranty will cover the cost of
parts only, excluding shipping and labor cost.
e. All other warranties, expressed or implied, including any implied
warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose,
are hereby expressly disclaimed in their entirely. No one is
authorized to make any such claim on our behalf.
EXCLUSIONS:
This warranty DOES NOT apply to defects caused by casualty or
unreasonable use, including faulty repairs by others and
failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance in
accordance of the Owners Manual. Nor does it cover any
defects caused by natural or man-made disasters, war, or theft.
The following additions are NOT covered by warranty:
a. Purchase NOT from a HIBIRD authorized dealer.
b. Rental, commercial and competition usage.
c. Modifications and Non-OEM parts installed.
d. Normal wear parts are defined as but not limited to: tires, plastic body
parts, fenders, chain, clutch, seat, shocks, brake pads,
air filter, fuel filter, oil filter, inner tubes, mirrors, and all light bulbs.
e. Cost associated with the pick-up and delivery of the product.
f. Normal maintenance items such as lubricants, filters, tune-ups
or adjustments.
g. Normal deterioration of the exterior finish due to use or exposure from
elements.
HIBIRD IS NOT BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND
including but not limited to labor costs or transportation charges, loss of
wages/profits and time in connection with the replacement or repair of defective
parts. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other
rights which vary from country/state to country/state. HIBRD Motorcycles will
honor all parts under warranty. Warranty terms vary from places due to
geographical setting and applicable laws.
TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE:
Buyer must bring the unit and proof of purchase to an authorized dealer. Buyer must also show proof of record that mandatory first break-in service was performed by an authorized HIBIRD dealer.
